China Labour Bulletin welcomes volunteers and interns who wish to make a contribution to and learn more about labour rights in China. Ideally, interns should be able to read and speak both English and Chinese, however this is not an absolute requirement.
If you would like to volunteer or intern for CLB please contact as at intern@clb.org.hk or write to China Labour Bulletin, PO Box 11362, Central Post Office, Hong Kong SAR. Telephone: (852)2780 2187. Fax: (852) 2359 4324. We will reply personally to all enquiries, and attempt to find a role for you that best suits your needs and ours.
CLB is a non-governmental organization that depends entirely on financial donations from organizations and individuals. To learn more about making a financial contribution to CLB, please go to our donations page.
To keep right up to date with CLB’s work, please subscribe to our RSS feed or sign up for our bulletins and magazine. CLB’s E-bulletins are issued to alert readers to the web-publication of our research reports, new commentaries on and analysis of important labour issues in China, as well as updates on our labour rights litigation and collective bargaining programmes. The CLB Magazine is a thematic compilation of recent news items, commentaries and interviews from the website and blog delivered straight to your inbox.
CLB seeks to both develop international understanding of China’s labour movement, and help Chinese workers benefit from the experience and expertise of the international labour movement. To this end, we aim to use our website as a forum in which international readers and domestic Chinese readers can exchange ideas and suggestions on Chinese labour rights. We welcome all contributions from readers, on specific issues raised by CLB, thoughts on the promotion and defense of labour rights, as well as readers’ personal experiences of labour issues in China, and international labour organizing initiatives that could be of benefit to Chinese workers. Moreover, CLB is very interested in publishing any photographs or video of Chinese workers, factories, coal mines etc that readers are willing to share. Any images published will of course be attributed to the copyright holder.
If you would like to contribute photographs or video or join our online discussion, please email us at editor@clb.org.hk, or add your comments to the CLB blog, or the comment box at the end of key articles.
